Special considerations

The word impact served as the guiding message for this project, and impact was achieved on multiple levels. Visually, the rhythmic curves of our modular DATUM lounge echo the building’s architectural features, creating continuity and softness throughout the space. Environmentally, the fully recyclable mild steel HALFMOON table complements the client’s choice of the BIT stool by Normann Copenhagen — a piece made from recycled plastic and able to be recycled infinitely.

Longevity, a core pillar of sustainability, was also front of mind. The client looked for modular solutions to furnish large open spaces. Our DATUM lounge will adapt to countless configurations as the tenant evolves, ensuring the furniture continues to serve long into the future.
